Dear Mom, Your Kids Don’t Need A Perfect Mom, They Need A Happy One

SHARE

Dear mom, you are doing the best you can. I know you want to be a perfect mom to your children but ‘perfect’ is just an illusion. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to love and take care of your kids the best you can.

Your kids don’t need a perfect mom, they need a happy one.

No one can hand you a rulebook and tell you what kind of mother you should be and how you should raise your children. Everyone is different and has different parenting styles. However, the most important thing you can do for your children is to focus on being happy and fulfilled with your life.

Stop stressing over your mistakes. Everyone makes them. And when you fail to succeed at something, remember that as long as you are supporting your children and meeting their emotional and physical needs you are doing an excellent job.

Stop worrying about unimportant things. Instead, do your best to be happy, so that your kids will be happy too. That’s all that matters.

Teach your kids to be happy no matter what. Teach them that everything can and will be solved but they shouldn’t give up. Teach them that happiness is the most important thing in life. Teach them to always look at the bright side and there won’t be any darkness in their life.

Of course, no one can be happy all the time, but when your goal is to be happy, you will be happy most of the time. And when things get difficult, you’ll know how to deal with them and not let them disappoint you or bring you down.

Mom, you are doing your job the best you can, don’t worry. You may and will fall apart sometimes but that doesn’t make you a bad mother. You are only human.

If you love and care for your children, and you are putting smiles on their faces – you are doing a great job!

Your kids love you no matter what and they want to see their mom happy.
