You’re Not Responsible For What You’ve Gone Through, But You Must Heal Your Heart

What you’ve gone through is not fair. You didn’t deserve the trauma you’ve experienced. It was not your fault.

You were a victim to someone’s wrath. An innocent soul whose heart was broken by the careless hands of someone who neither loved you nor cared about you in a real way.

We all go through different kinds of pain throughout our lives. We all experience trauma on different levels. Regardless of the reasons, sometimes we are all destroyed by something.

And while we sometimes tend to forget that what we’ve experienced is not your fault, we mustn’t forget that we are responsible for our healing.

We must heal ourselves. We must heal our hearts because otherwise, we will not be able to live up to our full potential and be happy with our life.

We are the only ones responsible for our healing because lingering pain will transfer to everyone around us and so, we may end up hurting someone we love.

We are responsible for our healing because we only have one life, and we owe it to ourselves to make the best of it.

We are responsible for our healing because if we wait for someone to come and change our lives, we may be waiting forever. Instead, what we should do is change it ourselves by first removing all the barriers we have within us.

We are responsible for our healing because the true power lies within us. Only we have the power to heal ourselves if we truly believe we can.

We are responsible for healing ourselves because every person we admire has gone through a lot as well, but they have transformed, and they have turned their pain into power. They became stronger after the trauma.

Healing is not returning to the state we once were. Healing is coming out of the trauma stronger, better, and wiser. It is becoming someone else – someone more loving, kinder, and more compassionate to others and to ourselves.

And the best thing is, when we heal, we not only make our life better but the lives of those around us as well. We can inspire them to change their lives for the better.

We will follow our dreams and passions. We will be free.

We will be liberated by knowing that we can handle whatever life throws at us because we are that powerful.

We will be more daring to reach new horizons and make our dreams come true.

And that’s what life is all about.

We aren’t meant to go through life pain-free and woundless. Our scars are our victories of the many battles we’ve survived.

Life happens, and pain arrives suddenly, but how we respond to it makes all the difference.

Don’t let traumatic experiences define you. Always choose healing over suffering.
