There are people who come into our lives in a blink of an eye and they leave just as fast. It’s like they are with us until we reach a certain limit, until we do whatever we are supposed to do together, and then they are gone. And it doesn’t mean that they are bad people, it just means that they were not to stay with us forever, but to teach us something for a period of time.
And it is funny how we sometimes think of temporary people as they are for a lifetime, and we think of people who are meant to be with us forever as temporary. But, with time you will understand that some people are only meant to be in your life for a season, they are not meant to stay. This is the eternal cycle of meeting someone and letting go.
Of course, we don’t want to let go of the people that are dear to us, be it friendships, family members, or romantic partners. However, there comes a time when we must let them go because their time with us has expired. We cannot grow into the people we are meant to be if we don’t leave some people behind.
However, sometimes you are the one who is disappearing from other people’s lives because you have outgrown them. And that’s okay. Because you are not meant to stay in the same place forever. You need to grow and flourish and become the person you need to be.
After all, what is for you will always be yours. The people that are destined to be in your life will stay with you.
