Hardships are inevitable.
If there’s one thing that I know for sure is that in life, you will face many obstacles, you will be challenged in ways that you’ve never been before. You will be put to tests, you will be hurt, you will be broken and you will struggle. I know it sounds dark, but that’s just the bitter reality that every single one of us is going through.
You can’t change the fact that once you come into this world you’ll have to cycle in and out of struggles. But there’s one thing that depends entirely on you. And that is your suffering.
Yes, hardships are inevitable, but you are the one who chooses how to handle them.
You are the one who chooses whether you will suffer or you will find a way to handle them and just move on.
I know it’s hard to find your strength and think positive when you are in the middle of a life crisis. I know it hurts too much right now. But you have to try and at least find a pinch of optimism. In moments like these, you have to remind yourself that everything you experience is exactly what you need to go through, whether you like it or not. All of these obstacles, all of this pain, all of that heaviness inside your heart is supposed to teach you a certain lesson.
If you don’t agree with me, I dare you to take a trip down memory lane.
Remember that difficult period in your life just a few years ago?
Remember how you suffered?
Well, you survived it. Back then, you didn’t believe that you could endure that. You didn’t believe that you have what it takes to overcome those obstacles and move on with your life. But you did. You dove deep inside that heart of yours, you found your courage and you fought. You fought with all of your strength.
Today, you are here because you refused to give up.
That is how I know that you will survive these hardships as well.
Because God never gives you more than you can handle.
God challenges you in order to help you grow.
God challenges you until you learn to look at the brighter side of life.
God challenges you until you realize why some things happen to you.
God challenge you until you learn to trust his plans for you and just surrender.
God challenges you until you find the strength within you.
He knows your weaknesses, but he also knows your strengths. He knows your potential and he will push you until you reach it. That is something that you won’t be able to fight. Something that won’t be within your power. Something that you will have to find a way to cope with.
But one thing you must never forget is that his challenges will be your greatest lessons in life.
