Be With Someone That You’ll Never Have To Chase

SHARE

This is a world full of people who love the thrill of the chase. I often hear individuals saying that the chase is the part of the dating process that is the most fun and exciting. Well, in my opinion, it is not.

We tend to romanticize the idea of having someone chase us. However, there isn’t anything romantic in it. There is nothing romantic in chasing someone and desperately wanting them to love you back.

When you chase someone, that means you are constantly doubting yourself. You are anxious. You are not sure where your relationship is going and if it’s headed in the right place. You are always obsessing, wondering, and second-guessing everything. That is not a nice place to be at.

Therefore…

Don’t be with a person who makes you feel like you should ‘work for it.’ Don’t be with someone who makes you feel unworthy of their time and love. Don’t be with someone with whom you don’t feel good about yourself.

Relationships entail two whole individuals who genuinely want to be together. Never be with anyone who makes you feel like you are standing in the relationship alone.

Instead…

Be with someone who will never make you feel like you are not enough. Be with someone who will never do anything to hurt you and make you cry. Date someone who openly expresses their love for you and makes you feel safe to be yourself in the relationship.

Be with someone who is by your side in good and bad. Someone who is there for you when you need them and not because you asked them to, but because they want to be there. Be with someone who is always present and never leaves when things get rocky between you.

Be with someone who will make you feel loved, desired, and cherished every single day. Someone who makes you smile every morning because your smile lights up their life and the last thing they want is to see you sad.

Be with someone who is a fighter for your love. Someone who never gives up on you and your relationship. Someone who is all-in. Someone with whom you have the feeling that you are in it together and no matter what will happen, you two will manage to get past it.

Be with someone whom you’ll never have to chase.
