When You Are Truly In Love With Someone, You Make Them Your Top Priority

SHARE

When you’re truly in love with someone, you place them on top of your list of priorities.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that everything else in your life is no longer important. You just see what things really matter to you and what don’t. You see what’s worth fighting for.

When you rearrange your priorities to make time for your person, it doesn’t mean you should completely forget about and ditch your friends because your partner is the only person who deserves your time and attention.

It doesn’t mean you should get distracted in class or during work hours because when you see their missed call or cute love message on your mobile screen, you can’t focus on anything else other than them.

It doesn’t mean you give up on your goals, desires, and dreams, and your moral and social principles so as to make time for your love.

When you love someone you want to spend quality time with them. You don’t make plans and choices without thinking about your love first. You don’t make decisions without asking them for their opinion.

You have to stop and think for a second if accepting your co-worker’s invitation to grab a couple of quick drinks and come home late is worth causing your love to worry about you and ruining the plans they made about you two for that night.

When you truly love someone, you care about their feelings and opinions. You make sure they feel acknowledged and appreciated. You’re neither ashamed nor afraid to tell them that your heart is completely invested in them.

When you’re in love with someone, you give them a part of yourself that you give to no one else and you do crazy things you never expected you’d do.

When you deeply and honestly love someone, you feel it deep inside, and nothing else could change your mind. That’s why making them your top priority comes naturally to you.

However, this doesn’t mean they’ll be your main priority every single day. There will be days when you won’t be able to answer their calls or text them right away because you’re in an important meeting. There will be many weekends when you don’t spend the evening with your love because you promised a friend you’d go to her birthday party.

Placing someone on top of your list of priorities doesn’t mean that you should make them the center of your world and that you should forget about all the people and things you care about and love.

Instead, it means that you love them and care about their happiness enough to give your best to make time for them in your life without forgetting who you were before they entered your life.

It means that even when you have busy days, nothing will stop you to make room for them in your tight schedule because you can’t be without them for so long.

Because when you love someone, you make sure you take care of and be there for them. It means you’re ready to go out of your way to make them feel happy, loved, and fulfilled. You don’t take that love for granted. Instead, you treat them with a lot of affection, kindness, respect, and compassion.

When you’re truly in love with someone, you don’t feel like they’re wasting your energy and time. Instead, you feel more energetic and lively.

When you’re with the person you love, you never let anyone and anything separate you. You fight. You fight with every fiber of your being. You let them know you’ll do whatever it takes to keep the love alive and keep them in your life because they’re worth it.

When you truly love someone you make sure they know how important to you they are because you know that if they start wondering where they stand in your life, you’ll lose them, and that – that’s your biggest fear.
