Tomorrow Is Not Promised: Always Tell Your Loved Ones How Much You Love Them

Ah, life. So wonderful, yet so fragile…

It’s right there, and then suddenly it’s not. Suddenly it vanishes into thin air. It leaves us breathless. It fills our hearts with pain and our eyes with tears. It always gives,  but at the same time, it takes away. It takes away when we least expect it and sometimes it does it in the most crucial way possible…

Life is abundant and life is beautiful. But life is also very unpredictable.

And very often, we take it for granted.

We forget to stop and smell the flowers. We forget to listen to the wind. We forget to notice the beautiful sky. We forget to enjoy the company of our pets. We forget to smile at strangers. We forget to enjoy the simple things. We forget to celebrate life. We forget to just be. But one of our greatest mistakes is that we forget to tell our loved ones how much they mean to us.

Think about it. When is the last time you opened up and let your close friends or family know how grateful you are for having them in your life?

If it’s 10 minutes ago, you’re okay. This article is not for you. But if you can’t remember, then this is your wake up call. I am here to let you how wonderful love expression is and remind you how fleeting this life is.

We live in a very stressful, chaotic, and fast-paced life. We constantly rush somewhere. No matter how much we want to slow down, we are in a constant race against time. We are always on the go, running errands, finishing chores, meeting people, doing business. And it’s hard. It can get really hard to give yourself a break and just breathe. But it shouldn’t be. It mustn’t become our burden.

We must be strong enough to break free from a life that is suffocating us and just exist in the present moment. We must release ourselves from the cage we’ve put ourselves in and start noticing the beauty around us.

We must learn to enjoy the little things. We must find time for ourselves. We must realize that every wasted minute on negativity costs us our life. We must start taking more chances. We must start breathing freely. We must start making decisions from our hearts.

Above all, we must start loving deeply. We must release our hearts from the fears and dive in. We must feel the love in the real sense of the word and experience it in all its glory. We must be willing to sacrifice ourselves for it. We must be willing to give it without expecting anything in return. We must be there for those who love us.

For tomorrow is not promised. And it might never come for some of us…
