No More Games: I Want A Man Who Won’t Stop Pursuing Me Even After He’s Got Me

I Don’t Hate You: I Am Just Mentally And Emotionally Exhausted

Here’s the truth.

I may look strong and independent, but I too have had my fair share of failed relationships. I’ve had my experience with modern dating. I’ve been through it all. So, here’s what I have to say about all of it.

I am done playing your immature games.

I’m done tolerating any childish behavior.

I’m sick of you trying to do everything in your power just to get with me, lock me down in a relationship and then completely forget about my feelings. I’m sick of having a honeymoon phase, instead of having a honeymoon relationship.

I don’t want to be taken for granted. I don’t want to be stuck in a long-term relationship that doesn’t help me grow. I want you to keep pursuing me long after you’ve got me. Because only then our love can be true and genuine.

I need to know that you want me. That you truly desire me. It’s really easy for a guy to go after the chase. In all honesty, that is the only thing most guys ever do. But, showing effort after they’ve got you? That is golden. That shows that the person you’re with really cares for you. It shows that you are worth his time.

I want to be with someone who makes me feel wanted. I don’t need a man who bends over backward to seal the deal, but then suddenly stops making an effort for our relationship. I want to be chosen each and every day, all over again. I want to feel loved.

I want to be in a relationship that will never stop flourishing. I want to be in the arms of a man who will enjoy telling me how much he loves me. I want to be with someone who won’t be annoyed by my constant signs of affection. Because that is the kind of person I am. I love from the bottom of my heart and I am not afraid to say it out loud!

I want a relationship that will last forever, not some short-term fling. Look, I am not an idealist. I am pretty aware of the fact that the fireworks at the beginning of the relationship cannot last forever. But, in my opinion, we are the ones who are responsible for keeping the spark alive. Therefore, we are the only ones responsible for putting out that fire between us.

So, if you are not that person, please, don’t waste my time. If you’re not interested to be with me in the long-run and you cannot imagine a future with me, stop chasing me. Stop giving me false signs. Stop promising me the whole world, the moon, and stars when you know that you are not powerful enough to do that for me.

I don’t want to be taken for granted. I don’t want to be a part of a comfortable relationship you can always come back to when you feel like it. I don’t want to be your toy.

I give as much as I get in return. If you don’t bother to share your feelings with me even after you’ve already got me, I’m out. Simple as that. I am not someone who gets thrilled by the chase.

I am someone who craves deep and genuine love. Someone who wants to be reminded that they’re loved. Someone who would do everything to keep that fire burning in the relationship.

I am done playing games. I want a man who won’t stop pursuing me, even after he’s already got me.
