If You Want To Start Healing, You Need To Release All Of Your Unhealthy Attachments

Have you ever tried to remove a toxic person from your life, desperately hoping that by doing so you will finally regain your freedom, open your wings and fly?

We’ve all been there. We’ve all experienced that initial breath of fresh air.

But, let me ask you something else.  Have you ever felt like their presence still lingers around you long after you’ve walked away? Like there is this invisible cord, this connection that somehow, still bonds you to this person and that no matter what you do, it is always there… You try to move forward, but something keeps pulling you back.

If the answer is yes, then you are not alone, my friend. You are just experiencing a powerful energetic connection. If you want to free yourself from it and start healing, you need to find a way to cut it and release yourself from it once and for all.

But before doing any of this, you need to learn what these connections signify.

Etheric cords are energy bonds that are created the minute we connect with another human being. They may include any person in your life. A partner, a friend, a parent, a sibling… anyone. The most important thing about them is that they connect our chakras. So, the more energy we exchange with someone, the more our connection strengthens. As long as that flow is maintained, the connection is healthy and it is obvious that there is a reason for it.

However, once you end this connection with a person, but you feel like you still cannot shake the feeling that you are attached to them, this is an obvious sign that the cord most likely still exists and that person on the other side is still using it to get to you… In other words, this means that even though the energy flow is one-sided, it still drains the energy from you.

Here are some of the common signs that you might still be emotionally attached to someone:

-Deep feelings of sadness, grief, anger

-Crying uncontrollably, feeling like an emotional wreck

-Dwelling on the past, feeling like you are stuck somewhere

-Being unable to stop thinking about that person

-Having difficulty sleeping

-Being unable to move on

-Losing interest in doing the things that make you happy

-Feeling as though you will never find happiness

-Turning down other offers or proposals

-Putting your entire life on hold, feeling useless

-Constantly drowning in unpleasant, painful, past memories

If you can relate to this, one thing is certain… You are still emotionally attached to that person and you must find a way to release yourself from this cage. Deciding to leave that cord unattended and hoping that someday it will fade on its own won’t help you at all. On the contrary, it will only prolong your suffering.

The most important thing you can do in this case is to choose yourself. To choose yourself above anything else and to finally start healing. I know it’s a process and I know it’s not as easy as some would think. But if you want to make it, you will. And if you really care for yourself, you will not give up, no matter what…

So, go on. Cut those cords loose and let yourself free. Open your wings and fly high, my dear. Release yourself from that prison and breathe. Inhale freedom, exhale pain. Inhale happiness, exhale your burden.
