A Cat Owner Films The Reaction Of His Cat Saying Goodbye To His Friend Who Died Of Cancer

Animals have emotions. They feel things. And, just like us, they react emotionally to everything that is happening to them. They may not express their feelings the same way that we do, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t feel sadness, joy, stress, anxiety…

What’s more interesting is that this has also been proven in research that has been published on the VCA hospital’s website. According to the article, cats feel a variety of emotions, including grief.

If you don’t believe it, just keep scrolling down.

Below is a story about Big Boy and Chuey, two cats that have been best friends for a very long time.

In the photos, we can see poor Chuey who has died from cancer carefully wrapped up in a blanket and Big Boy next to him. Chuey had cancer. And after a long period of living with this condition, the poor creature succumbed to the pain and passed away. The cat owner wrapped poor Chuey and allowed Big Boy to come near him.

And then he filmed his reaction…

What happens next will bring tears to your eyes…

Below is the video of Big Boy trying to revive his friend and realizing that he is in fact, gone… As the owner takes Chuey away, we can see poor Big Boy moving to different parts of the room and lying around with sadness written all over him. Truly heart-breaking…

In my opinion, this just goes to show that cats and other animals feel much more than you can even imagine. We do not treat them as equally as we treat humans. So, this is a sign that it is time to finally realize that these creatures deserve our unconditional love and compassion…
