1. THEY’LL CHANGE YOU
A narcissist will have you custom-tailored and changed in order to fit their greedy and possessive need for superiority. On their quest for ultimate power, they’ll do anything to crash your self-confidence and erase your identity to the point where you become just another disposable puppet.
2. THEY’LL DO EVERYTHING TO GAIN YOUR TRUST
The very first thing a narcissist will do in a relationship is “bending over backward” to gain your trust. If you’re already stuck in this hell hole, you’re probably familiar with their power to entice you and make you lose their mind.
They’ll come into your life disguised as a trustworthy and loving person who’ll promise you the world. But, in no time, the masks will fall off, and you’ll get to experience their real, poisonous behavior.
3. THEY’LL ENCHANT YOU WITH THEIR SUGAR-COATED WORDS
One of their most powerful weapons will be their kind, loving words. Right when you’re about to call it quits and back off, they’ll come running to your embrace with those three magical words every person wants to hear.
“I love you.” …And you’ll actually believe these words, thinking they might have changed overnight. Because that’s the one thing you desperately needed to hear.
4. THEY’LL ISOLATE YOU FROM EVERYONE
You’ll be, oh, so wrong. The only reason they gave in to you and expressed what you wanted to see, was just so they could easily entrap you inside their web of manipulation.
The next step will be poisoning your thoughts and turning you against your closest friends and family, so they can have you all by themselves. The unconditional love your family is providing you will be an obstacle they’ll eventually have to get rid of.
5. THEY’LL TRAP YOU INSIDE THEIR TWISTED WORLD
They’ll trap you by changing your identity into something they need. They’ll make you fall in love with them and have you attached, thinking you wouldn’t last a day without them.
By the time you gain the needed strength and courage to fight for your freedom and get out of their hostile world, you’ll no longer feel like yourself.
6. THEY’LL DESTROY YOU
And after everything is said and done, after making you a person that fits inside their twisted world, they’ll throw you away with the explanation that unfortunately, you no longer serve their purposes.
