8 Important Things You Should Never Say “I’m Sorry” For

SHARE

You probably already know this, but human beings tend to criticize others. The majority of people in our society are spending their time hating and dissing other individuals.

Jealousy is a sensation that will eat us alive. “Why would someone be better than me?” “And, if somebody else achieved a certain thing, why can’t I do the same for me?”

Rings any bells? Yeah, I know it does. No matter how much we like to deny it and hide behind our (sometimes) fake purity, at some point in our lives, we all behaved like inconsiderate jerks.

However, it is important for all of us to understand that, at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is what makes you happy. Not what others think. And most certainly not what others say about you.

So, I suggest you get up and do your thing. Live your life by your rules. Be unapologetically yourself. Don’t you ever ask for an approval! Create the life that you desire. And never apologize to people for your actions.

Here are 8 most important things you should never say “I’m sorry” for:

1. MAKING YOURSELF THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY IN YOUR LIFE

We have 100% responsibility for how we decide to live our lives. We are the only creators of our destiny.

So, in order to make your life a beautiful and peaceful place to live, you need to make yourself a priority in your life. It’s not selfish, it is called self-care. And it is essential for a happy life.

After all, no one else is going to care about you if you don’t do it yourself.

2. FOLLOWING YOUR WILDEST DREAMS

Believe me. You can have everything your heart desires. But, only if you work hard for it.

Don’t let anyone discourage you from achieving greatness. You don’t owe anything to anyone. It is your life. Your decision. Your success/failure.

People will always hate everything. You make sure to fulfill your dreams and goals.  Don’t you ever let them take that away from you!

3. MAKING ENOUGH TIME FOR YOURSELF

In this hectic society, most people tend to lose their minds worrying about others and pleasing everyone around them. That is probably the worst thing you can do to yourself.

Next time you do that, try to remember that you’re wasting a precious time that could be used more productively. You could spend that time actually working on yourself.

Don’t apologize for turning down an invitation. Don’t worry about staying home Friday night. If you want to hang out, do it. If you want to be alone, go for it.

It is your life.

4. EXPRESSING EMOTIONS IN YOUR OWN INDIVIDUAL WAY

Don’t you feel like lately, we’ve started acting like robots when it comes to romance and love?

We are becoming more and more frigid. We hide all our emotions, fearing that we’ll reveal too much to a certain person.

Well, not me! I refuse to hide behind a stone-cold heart. I refuse to be fake!

If you want to cry, cry. If you want to scream, do it. If you want to tell a person you love them, do it with all of your heart. And don’t regret anything.

Life is too short. And you don’t owe anyone any explanation.

5. DATING THE PERSON YOU LIKE

No one, I repeat no one has the right to tell who is the right person for you. You are free to choose your sexual orientation. You are free to like girls, or boys, or maybe even both.

No matter what people tell you, as long as you love and truly care for your partner, then please, feel free to date whoever you like. We are all creators of our destiny.

So, if a person dares to tell you who is right for you and who isn’t, believe me, they don’t deserve to be a part of your life.

6. YOUR PAST LIFE

Some people are rude enough to bring up all your mistakes or failures from your past. And some do it, just so they can put you down.

And yes, some of them won’t be able to deal with your past life. But, despite any of it, the past will always remain your past. You will never be able to change it.

Never apologize for the things that once were. Instead, keep and cherish those rare individuals who have accepted you with every baggage you had. They are the only people who deserve to be a part of your life.

7. YOUR OPINIONS (NO MATTER HOW STRONG THEY MIGHT BE)

You don’t have to agree with a person to respect them. We are all human beings who have different opinions, preferences, beliefs. That’s what makes us different from one another.

If you have a certain opinion, never hesitate to express it, no matter how different and peculiar it might be.

8. CHALLENGING THIS MAINSTREAM SOCIETY BY DOING AS YOU PLEASE

You have the right and freedom to live your own life the way you want to. Whether you want to be vegan, or you like to keep eating meat. Whether you want to home-school your children, or you don’t plan on having any kids.

Simple as that.

You can do anything you want. Don’t you dare apologize for your lifestyle. You don’t owe anything to anyone.
