5 Simple, Yet Effective Ways To Spot A Fake Nice Person

SHARE

We’ve all met an over-enthusiastic person with an intentional, annoying grin on his face that reeks of fakeness. Heck, some of us poor souls, have even gone through the struggles of having a friend who turned out to be this conniving and two-timing brute.

If by any chance, you haven’t crossed your path with this type of individuals, they are the ones who know absolutely everyone, and most importantly, the ones who like to maintain a good, loving relationship with absolutely everyone.

However, one thought by the genius himself, Aristotle that always stuck with me was, “A friend to all is a friend to none”. A simple saying that revealed to me a lot of truths about people.

A genuine person will never be loved by everyone. Some will adore him. Others will despise him. But, a fake person? He will bend over backwards to meet the needs of every person they know.

These people know how to hide their ulterior motives. They can’t be easily recognized.

For that reason, we made two significant lists. One to help you identify your true friends, and the other to open your eyes in order to spot the fake ones in your life.

BEST FRIENDS WILL:

1. ACCEPT YOUR CRAZINESS

A best friend will love with all of your flaws as well as strengths. You will never be judged by this person. They will enjoy your goofiness, not shy away from it.

2. ALWAYS FIND TIME FOR YOU

A real friend will care for you and give you a significant place in their lives. No matter how busy life is, they’ll always find time for catching up with you.

3. FORGIVE YOU AND FORGET

At the end of the day, we’re all humans made of flesh and blood. We all tend to make mistakes. A good friend will always sort things out, forgive you and move on. Communication is what constitutes a real friendship.

4. STAY IN TOUCH WITH YOU EVEN AFTER A LONG TIME

I think long distance friendships are even more difficult than long-distance love relationships. But, a genuine, good friend will always make sure to text you or call you. Neither distance nor time will ever come between you two.

5. ACCEPT YOUR CHOICES

Whatever you choose to do in your life, you can rest assured that a real friend will support you one hundred percent. Cheers to them!

On the other side, here’s how you can spot the fake nice people into your life.

1. THEY NEED TO BE YOUR PRIORITY

Fake nice people are known as one of the greatest manipulators. They would ask you to put them on top of your priority list. But, the minute you ask something similar from them, they would disappear into thin air.

2. GOSSIPING IS THEIR FAVORITE ACTIVITY

They’ll talk trash about every person they know. But mostly the ones they are envious of. Even the ones who are clearly their best friends. So, don’t you think that they might be doing the exact same thing to you? If they can talk about other people, what makes you think you are an exception?

3. THEY TEND TO BEHAVE SARCASTICALLY FOR NO REASON

They’ll use every trick up their sleeve to get what they want from you. And sarcasm will be one of their favorite ways to insult you. Watch out for their wicked jokes.

4. THEY ARE EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE

You may notice this very late, but they’ll personally see to it that you don’t get anything. Life is a competition for this people. They desperately need to be first. They need to be praised and celebrated. So, have in mind that these people won’t hesitate about destroying you if it gets them closer to their goal.

5. THEY’LL KEEP LETTING YOU DOWN

No matter what they promise you, you can be sure they’ll never ever keep it. You would make the mistake to believe them, and you will give them many chances, but in the end, they’ll always leave you hanging. Disappointment is the one thing these people are actually good at.

They might appear to you as genuine, warm-hearted beings, but the reality is a lot different. Their mask of manipulation and lies tends to be pretty convincing. Don’t let them fool you.
