The right person for you won’t complete you. Instead, they’ll make you realize you’re already complete.

The right one won’t judge you for your weaknesses and imperfections. Instead, they’ll accept you and love you for who you are.

They’ll be aware of your irritating habits, quirks, and whims, but they’ll never make you feel like you aren’t good enough for them. They’ll be aware of your insecurities and fears, and yet, they’ll never make you feel weak, needy, or unimportant.

They’ll know the wars you’ve fought, the battles you’ve won, and the battles you’ve lost. They’ll know your past pains, losses, failures, and mistakes, and yet, they’ll never stop choosing you.

The right one will never leave you to deal with your worries and problems by yourself. Instead, they’ll always be there to hold your hand and comfort you when you’re going through rough times. They’ll always be there to pick you up when life knocks you down.

The right one will never make you doubt your worth. Instead, they’ll make sure you’re always aware of it yourself. They’ll make sure you’re aware of your mental strength and qualities.

They’ll encourage you to pursue your goals and wildest passions. They’ll inspire you to challenge yourself, learn new things, and gain a new perspective on the world around you.

But most importantly, they’ll encourage you to accept and cherish yourself for who you are, with all your emotional wounds and scars, and flaws. They’ll make sure you know that you’re this strong, smart, loving, and beautiful person who has what it takes to overcome whatever problem or pain life may throw your way.

The right one will never make you doubt their love for you either. Instead, they’ll wear their heart on their sleeve. They’ll have no problem telling you “I love you” a couple of times a day every day. They won’t be ashamed to hold hands with you or kiss you in public. They’ll openly and proudly express their feelings. They’ll make sure you know how much they love you and care about you.

The right one won’t envy your happiness, your growth, your talents, or your successes. Instead, they’ll be happy when you’re happy. They’ll be proud of your talents. And they’ll celebrate your successes with you.

The right one won’t complete you. Instead, they’ll make you realize that you are already complete. That you’re already whole. That you’re tough and smart. That you’re more than good enough. That you’re amazing just the way you are.
