Stop Rushing Destiny – What’s Meant To Come Your Way Will Be Yours

SHARE

All my life, I’ve wanted complete control of everything. I wanted to decide exactly where I was going, who would be with me, and what would happen every step of the way. No matter how much I longed for that though, life doesn’t always listen. It will come as no surprise that a lot of things happened which I hadn’t planned for.

As I watched every single one of my plans slip out of my control, I was originally extremely upset. However, as time went on, I realized that we all want control, but we can’t always have it. I want to teach you what I’ve learned, and that is that you need to stop rushing destiny – what’s meant to come your way will be yours.

Let Life Unfold Itself

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So, you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”

– Steve Jobs

Many people struggle with having faith, I for one do most of the time. Despite how hard it may be though, having it will make your whole life a lot easier. By letting go of the stress of trying to hold onto control, you’re freeing yourself. You’re giving yourself the chance to let your life unfold by itself in the way that it’s meant to.

The fact is, no matter how hard you hold onto your desire to be the ruler of your own destiny, you can’t. Life is going to happen whether you like it or not. Sometimes, what happens will be good, sometimes it will be bad, but in the long run, it’s all for your own wellbeing.

It’s Hard to Understand

I know that it can be difficult to accept all the challenges in your life. Terrible things happen, you can become ill, lose your job, lose someone you love, or any number of awful occurrences. Although they hurt, trying to change them isn’t going to work. What will be, will be.

There is a plan for everyone. The bad times may be rough but they’re there for a reason. They help you to grow, they teach you important lessons, and they help you to appreciate the good times even more.

It may be painful when you lose something in life, but if it’s truly meant to be, it will come back to you. Otherwise, it’s gone so that you can find something new, your true destiny.

Remember That There is Always A Plan

When things don’t go our way, we can start to hate the world. We can blame the universe for betraying us and not listening to our wishes. In some cases, we can even feel completely abandoned, like there’s no one watching out for us and that we have no hope left.

Please remember that the universe hasn’t abandoned you. Just because what’s happening to you isn’t what you’d hoped for, doesn’t mean that there isn’t a reason for it. Everything that comes into your life has a purpose, even if it’s not immediately clear what that purpose is. One day, when you look back, you’ll realize that what happened was for the best.

Stop fighting your destiny and rushing for better things to be happening to you. There is a plan for your life and all you need to do is try to be the best version of yourself that you can be. When things don’t work out, just remember that there is a meaning to all of this. Eventually, you will have everything in your life that you’re meant to have.
