Do you know someone who goes in and out of relationships for the sake of being in a relationship?
Of course, there are many people like this. But I want to tell you that it is okay to wait for the right person for you. There is nothing wrong with being single. Actually, it is one of the best things that you can do for yourself.
When you are in a relationship out of loneliness or boredom, please know that you are wasting precious time.
That time would be better spent with you doing the things that inspire you, the things that you love doing with people that make you happy. You could spend it on learning new things, pampering yourself, getting in touch with your inner core.
Because real love does not come easy and often. You can’t transform a mediocre relationship into a soulmate connection. It is very hard to find someone who is compatible with you mentally and intellectually and with whom you share a deep passion and love for one another.
You should be really careful with your emotions. Don’t waste them on people that you know you don’t belong with. Don’t open your heart to someone who will never appreciate its greatness. Don’t waste your energy on someone who takes you for granted, on someone who doesn’t make you a priority.
We are all guilty of falling for toxic people. Narcissists, emotional psychopaths, you name it. And it is all because they were able to make us believe that we have finally met the one. We’ve experienced with them the pleasure of being in a relationship, but as soon as that relationship fell apart all we wanted was to have it back.
Sometimes even the mere idea of being in a relationship can be so strong and alluring that we end up with someone who we know is the wrong person for us, but we decide to give them a chance because we want to be in a relationship.
Please stop this. We should all take a moment and reflect on our lives and our decisions. Being single is an amazing thing. You can do so many things that can fulfill you even more than a relationship with someone whose soul is not vibrating on the same level as yours.
Stay single until you find someone whose soul matches yours.
That’s the only love worth waiting and fighting for.
