Be With A Person Whose Weirdness Matches Your Weirdness

In life, you will meet a lot of people. Some will make you cry; some will break your heart, some will make you smile, but only a few will make you laugh until your stomach hurts.

Most people will not understand why your soul craves what it craves. Most will make you feel like you are not enough. They will convince you that you need to change.

But out of all those people, only a few will truly understand the way your heart beats and only a few will learn to dance to the rhythm of your heart. Those few human beings will fall in love with your imperfections. They will teach you that self-love is the first most important thing that you have to learn in your life. They will love you in the most beautiful way that you’ve ever been loved.

So, remember… whatever happens in life, you wait for those people.

Whatever you go through, however difficult it gets, don’t ever settle than something less than this. Don’t ever condemn yourself to a life of mediocracy. You deserve so much more than that.

Instead of accepting a life of quiet desperation, wait for someone who embraces your wild side and encourages you to be yourself. Wait for that person who will help you open your wings and motivate you to reach for your dreams. The one who will laugh at your jokes and dance like nobody is watching. The one who will let you know that it is okay to be loud and crazy out in public. The one who will sing your favorite songs with you. The one who will make you laugh like crazy.

Instead of accepting a half-assed love wait for someone who will shake your world to the core. Wait for the person who will laugh at your bad jokes. The one whose weirdness will match yours. The one who will dance with you on the street while everyone is giving you an awkward look. The one who will not be embarrassed by your weirdness, but on the contrary, would gladly join you in your madness.

Instead of settling for a comfortable relationship with an ‘okay’ partner, do yourself a favor and save your love for the real thing. Wait for that person who will make your heart sing with joy. The one who will have fun with you. The one who will first be your friend and then your partner. The one whose idea of a romantic date night will be doing something silly for the first time. The one who won’t be judgmental, but on the contrary will be open to everything.

In the end, life is too short to be serious or to pretend that you are something that you are not. It’s too damn short to be wasted on people who do not awaken that spark inside of you. And it is too damn precious to be spent in a wrong relationship.

Be exactly who you are and surround yourself with people who will fall in love with exactly that part of you.
