You’ll Always Be Too Much For The People That Don’t Deserve You

There comes a moment in life when we feel as though we need to do act a certain way, be a certain way, and do certain things in order for other people to like us. But, putting your needs last is a mistake. You should never forget about yourself and your needs while caring about what others think about you.

Because…

1. YOUR LIVING SITUATION IS YOURS ONLY

You can live alone, with your parents, roommates, your ex, unmarried with your partner, it doesn’t matter. Your choices are yours only.

2. YOU DECIDE WHETHER YOU WANT TO GET MARRIED OR NOT

Whether you don’t want to get married or you want to get married at 20, marriage is your choice. You are an adult and you don’t need to give an explanation to anyone about your life decisions.

3. DON’T FEEL GUILTY FOR WANTING TO BE ALONE

Wanting to have alone time for yourself is not selfish. You are not being unfriendly or rude. Taking alone time is actually very good for your wellbeing.

4. YOU DON’T HAVE TO SAY ‘YES’ IF YOU WANT TO SAY ‘NO’

You don’t have to always agree to what others are saying out of fear of being impolite. Express your opinions. Say ‘no’ when you want to say ‘no.’

5. YOU DON’T NEED TO EXPLAIN ANYONE YOUR PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Whether you gained weight, lost weight, changed your hair, grown a beard – you don’t have to explain why you did it to anyone. It’s none of their business and you shouldn’t care about their comments as well.

6. …OR YOUR LOVE LIFE

Your love life is only yours. Whether you have a partner or not, it is only your business.  Inquiring minds don’t need to know.

7. YOU ALSO DON’T NEED TO EXPLAIN YOUR PERSONAL LIFE CHOICES

Period. Your career, your life path, and the direction you choose to follow are your choices. Just go for what feels right to your heart and stop worrying about others.
