Angela Primachenko from Vancouver, Washington tested positive for coronavirus in late March hen she was 33-week pregnant.
Some days later, doctors placed her under a medically induced coma and when she woke up she discovered that while she was in a coma she has given birth to a baby girl.
When she found she has corona she was devastated. It’s been rough and it has been very challenging. Emotionally, it’s exhausting. I wish this was a bad dream I could wake up to reality from.’
And while Angela was in a coma, she birthed her baby 6 weeks earlier. Luckily the baby tested negative for COVID-19. On April 5, Angela’s condition improved and they took off the ventilator. When she woke up she was happy to find that she delivered her baby. She named her newborn daughter Ava.
