We Don’t Meet Anyone By Chance – 5 Types Of Synchronistic Encounters

SHARE

They say every encounter in our lives happens by chance. Well, I couldn’t disagree more. In this world, nothing happens by a pure coincidence. People are meant to cross our paths for a reason and no matter how small their role in our life is, they all teach us valuable lessons.

Throughout our life, we encounter people from different cultures and backgrounds. Some of them stay with us forever and make a greater impact on our life than we could have imagined the first time we met them. Others cross our paths barely noticed and we hardly remember them. However, each and every one of them has a different purpose in furthering our development.

For example, there are those who add to our happiness and encourage us to pursue our goals and dreams,  and teach us how to improve ourselves both personally and professionally. On the other hand, there are those who teach us the hard stuff and that it takes a lot of mental strength and courage to endure and overcome all the obstacles, problems, and pain life throws our way.

Undeniably, the people we meet can leave us with happy and/or painful memories. They can offer us both amazing and unpleasant adventures. Yet, both of them are important because they equally contribute to the beauty and quality of the journey we call life.

Following are the 5 synchronistic encounters you’ll have with people in your life:

1. The ones that remind you.

When you’ve strayed off your path and you feel like you’ve lost the purpose of life, these people are there to help you return to the right road to your happiness and success.  They remind and encourage you to work hard towards your goals and avoid all distractions that could make you deviate from the right path.

They’re always there to remind you of your abilities, talents,  and mental  strength. They remind you of what’s most important to you and motivate you to keep working on yourself and progressing. When you’re stable enough to stand on your own feet, these people leave.

Yet, although this kind of people usually stay with you for a temporary period, they leave a long-lasting impact on your life.

2. The ones that encourage you to grow.

These people are like teachers who come into your life to teach you things you’ve never thought about before or things you may have struggled to learn on your own. Oftentimes, they teach you difficult lessons, which is why they may appear like they’re a hindrance in your life instead of a gift.

But, in fact, with their tough lessons, they further  your development. They show you your true self, push you in the right direction, and give you the motivation to become the best version of yourself.

3. The ones who awaken you.

Have you ever forgotten about your passions and stopped following your dreams? Whenever you feel like you’re stuck in life, the universe sends you these people so that you may stay focused on your goals and dreams, and take steps to fulfill them.

They encourage you to never give up and to always search for new ways to achieve your goals, no matter how high they are. They motivate you to never stop dreaming.

These people don’t stay long in your life but their great influence on you is undeniable.

4. The ones who hold space.

Some people are present in your life for such a short amount of time that you forget about them as soon as they cross your path. These are the people you run into in the mall, in the café, at parties, on the bus, or simply in the streets.

You can share a few glances or words with them, and they can even add a small amount of positive energy to your life, but you never establish a deep and meaningful connection with them.

5. The ones who stay.

Whether it’s a family member, a friend, or your partner, these people are difficult to find, but they’re the most valuable ones you’ll ever meet. Out of all the people you encounter, these are the ones that have the greatest impact on your life.

They accept and cherish you for who you are. They stay by your side through thick and thin and lift you up whenever you fall. They push you to do things you never thought you would be able to do. They make you more aware of your worth and help you grow. All in all, they make your life a lot easier and better.

To find these people, you have to be patient. But, once you find them, they’ll stay with you forever, and you’ll see that they are definitely worth every second of the time you spent waiting for them.
