You know… Looking back I think this year was the most challenging period of my life. There were heartbreaks, terrible, gut-wrenching losses, disappointments, obstacles, sadness, pain, grief, but then there were you.
My loved ones. My friends, my family, my all. My entire universe in just a few people. A few beating hearts that make my life a happier place.
Having you beside me is the biggest blessing that life has given me. I know I sound corny but that’s the truth. This year was undoubtedly the hardest year in my entire life, and I somehow survived it.
I went through the scariest storms and hurricanes I’ve ever experienced, and somehow I am still here. The only reason I am still alive and well is your unconditional love. Your limitless support and your unreserved commitment. If it weren’t for you, I don’t know if I’d be here now writing this article. I don’t know if I’d be strong enough to make it on my own…
So, here it is… Thank you.

Thank you for loving me when I wasn’t very loveable. Thank you for giving me all the time in the world to grow and heal on my own. Thank for you being patient with me. Thank you for giving your best efforts to find the remaining pieces of my heart and glue them all together. Thank you for teaching me what unconditional love really means. Thank you for seeing and accepting me for who I really am, not who you want me to be.
Thank you for illuminating the path that I chose. Thank you for guiding me in the darkness. Thank you for following my steps and making sure I follow the road that I took. Thank you for letting me know that you are always there looking after me, even when you are not right there beside me. Thank you for being my greatest motivation in life. Thank you for celebrating my achievements and sharing all of those beautiful moments with me.
Thank you for being there to catch me when I fall. Thank you for all the times you got of your way to help me when I was down too weak and helpless to make it on my own. Thank you for always finding ways to prove your loyalty to me. Thank you for reassuring me that I can always count on you for literally everything. Thank you for being my safety net.
Thank you for making this mess of a year better. Thank you for holding my hand when things were tough. Thank you for picking me up and reminding me that every survived challenge is just a step forward. Thank you for being my motivation speaker, my mentor, my partner, my guardian angel, my everything. Thank you for laughing with me when I felt like crying. Thank you for holding me in your arms when I was on the verge of giving up. Thank you for knocking some sense into my head when I was too stubborn to see things clearly. Thank you for everything.
For believing in me. For sticking with me. For accepting me.
But most importantly… Thank you for loving me.
