This is How You Lose A Person Who Is Ready To Give You All Their Love

SHARE

You may not be aware of it right now, but they are slowly slipping away from you.

Yes. That person next to you, that person that was more than ready to give up everything to be with you is slowly changing their mind. They are letting go. They are giving up on you. They are finally choosing to leave you and everything you two had behind.

You wonder why? Because it is not worth it. It’s not worth the struggle. The effort. The love. The sleepless nights. The tears. The endless questions in their heads. They are not worth it.

What you two have is simply not enough for them to keep on fighting.

So, they are letting go. And you are slowly losing them.

You may not be aware of it yet, but you lose them every day a bit more.

You lose them when you make them feel like an option instead of a priority.

You lose them when you are not there for them the way they are there for you.

You lose them every time you refuse to commit to a relationship with them.

You lose them when you ghost them for a few weeks.

You lose them every time you don’t pick up the phone in the middle of the night.

You lose them when you pretend to listen to them, but it is more than obvious that you are not present.

You lose them every time you say you love them, but end up doing something in total contradiction of what you’ve just said.

You lose them when you make them feel like they are not enough.

You lose them every time you promise you’ll never hurt them again, but end up hurting them even more.

You lose them when you ignore them for hours.

You lose them every time you tell them to leave after arguing.

You lose them when they walk away and turn around to see that you are not there coming to get them.

You lose them every time you take them for granted.

You lose them when you think that you will be once again forgiven for your mistakes.

You lose them every time you force them to question themselves if they are good enough for you.

You, my friend, lose them every day a little bit more. And the saddest part is, it is exactly when you lose them that you’ll realize how much they meant to you. But, then it will already be too little, too late…
