I’ve waited for quite some time to gain the needed courage and open up to you. For a very long time, I struggled to accept my past and the mistakes I was so angry with myself for being played, I had trouble forgiving myself for being a masochist.
But, here I am. I’m ready to lay my soul in front of you and I’m hopeful that my heartfelt words would truly be the help you need.

I was weak once too. I know how it feels. And I know that in the beginning, you don’t even perceive your weakness. It is exactly when the manipulation reaches a boiling point, that you start to realize that maybe you were addicted all along, and maybe you had no clue that all of that time, you were actually chained and locked away.
This changed the way I looked at the world.
At the risk of sounding too depressive, I’ll be honest. At first, I felt like I was lost forever. It felt like there’s nothing more out there for me. Like I don’t deserve love.
These emotions were real. The whole inside of me forced me to believe that I’m not meant for great things. It forced me to think that I am not meant for great things.
But, you know what?
I got myself out of it.
I don’t know how long it took me, because looking back at everything, it feels like all of it was a part of some previous life. It almost feels like the memories are slowly fading away.
And, you know what?
I’m not afraid to feel confident in believing I deserve more.
I don’t want to settle for a miserable relationship with a toxic and immature jerk. I don’t want to put up with being just an option. I don’t want to waste my youth on people who don’t care if they’re with or without me.
I’m not afraid to ask for the things I need.
So, this one is for all the broken hearts out there!
Don’t let him define you. You are you. And your worth is priceless. Don’t ever forget that.
Don’t let him determine your journey in life.
Don’t wait for him to make up their mind when it is pretty clear that they are only using you. Don’t wait for anyone to choose you. Make the choice for yourself.
Don’t allow him to force you to change for him. No matter what you do, he will never stop asking for more.
Don’t justify bad behaviors. Don’t put up with lazy excuses. Don’t accept his meaningless I’m sorry. Don’t settle for the one who plays you.
Don’t give up your dreams for him.
Don’t wait for him to make up his mind.
