The Worst Part About Anxiety Is Feeling Unappreciated, Worthless, And Unloved

Anxiety makes you feel like you’re trouble. You don’t wish to call or text your friends, although hanging out with them is what you enjoy the most, since you worry that they won’t want you around them. You don’t want to say hello to the person you like, although you are dying to do that, since you worry that they might think you’re funny or weird. You don’t even want to ask your co-workers about something related to work because you worry that they might find you boring.

Yes, that is exactly how anxiety makes you feel. It makes you feel like you are a burden. A trouble. A waste of time.

Due to your anxiety, you are afraid of socializing with your friends and colleagues because you worry that you might say something stupid and embarrass yourself in front of them. You worry they might laugh at you. You worry they might tell you that you don’t fit in. You worry they might tell you that you aren’t good enough.

Anxiety makes you feel like you are unappreciated. It makes you feel like no one sees how much you’re invested in your relationships. It makes you feel like no one bothers to understand your condition. It makes you feel like you’re not treated the way you deserve or want to be treated. It makes you feel like no one sees you for who you really are.

Anxiety makes you feel like you are worthless. It makes you feel like nothing you do is ever good enough. It makes you think that no one cares about your opinions. It makes you think that whatever problems or pains you may be dealing with is not important to anyone. It makes you think that you’re weak, needy, and unimportant.

Anxiety makes you feel like you are unloved. It makes you think that no one cares about you or your feelings. It makes you think that you are the only one that cares in your relationships, both romantic and otherwise. It makes you wonder if your friends think you’re weird or difficult to deal with, although they have never given you any reason for that.

Anxiety makes you believe that you’ll never be able to live a truly happy and meaningful life. It makes you think that you are never going to achieve your goals and dreams. It makes you think that you are never going to get in life where you’ve always wanted to be. It makes you think that you deserve a mediocre life. But, this is not true.

This is not the kind of life you deserve. It’s just your anxiety that is making you think that. Your anxiety is messing with your mind and tricking you into thinking that you’re weak and worthless. That you’re unlovable and weird. But, you are not!

You are strong, smart, and important. You are lovable. And you deserve to be loved.

You deserve to have genuine and deep friendships.

And you should stop thinking negatively of yourself and judging yourself so harshly.
