The Simple Path To Eternal Happiness: 8 Mental Habits Of The Happiest Women Alive

SHARE

Lately, I’ve been wondering about happiness. I started thinking about the happiest and most fulfilled women in my life and I realized that there are a lot of beautiful creatures in my life that kept on inspiring even when their light stopped glowing.

So, I wondered… What makes a person happy? Is it love? Or is it material possessions?

Most importantly, what keeps a person alive and motivated despite life’s challenges? Is there a recipe for a perfect life filled with happiness and serenity?

And, if there is, where can I find it?

The thing is, happiness is something that can be found only within us. It’s being free to live your life the way you intend to. It’s being healthy, but not only in a physical way but also in a spiritual.

It’s nurturing an intimate relationship with your own self and maintaining a positive outlook on life.

The journey to happiness is really a journey to self-love and self-knowledge.

Here are 8 mental habits of the happiest women alive:

1. BEING VULNERABLE ENOUGH TO ALWAYS ASK FOR HELP

The happiest women alive aren’t afraid or ashamed to ask for a helping hand. They tend to live their lives governed by their vulnerability. They express their emotions because that’s just the way they function.

2. SEEING THE POSITIVE SIDE OF OTHER PEOPLE’S PERSONALITY

The most valuable trait these unique human beings have is recognizing the good in people.

Happy people radiate happiness. They are pure sunshine in a human form. Naturally, the first thing they perceive in another human being is the good in that person. Seeking for that good in people and experiencing more of that side is exactly what they tend to focus on.

3. EXSISTING IN THE PRESENT MOMENT

Most importantly, happy women are the happiest because they don’t bother dwelling on the past or yearning for the future.

The past is long gone, and the future is yet the come. But the happiness inside their hearts is an invigorating force that derives from their existence in this present moment. NOW.

4. AVOIDING UNECESSARY DRAMA

According to these people and the conventional wisdom, one of the keys to happiness is the art of pragmatism. In other words, organizing your life and maintaining a peaceful state of mind, while avoiding all the unnecessary drama in life.

And really, when you think about it, these people have it all figured out. Why would you make a drama out of someone’s opinion about you, when you can just continue living your life the way you want?

5. NOT BEING AFRAID TO BE ALONE

One of the most important mental habits these people practice is independency. Being free to choose your own life and never allow others to define or determine your path in life.

Not only choosing a partner who would be in for that ride instead of someone would discourage you from growing, but also, not being afraid to stay alone if you don’t cross your paths with that exact person.

6. ENJOYING THE MUCH-NEEDED ALONE TIME

According to happiest people I know, the simple path to eternal happiness includes accepting and embracing self-love and self-knowledge along the way.

In order to be happy with yourself, you need to find what makes your heart sing, eyes glisten and indulge in it. The simplest joys in life have the power to trigger the most beautiful feelings in us. And therefore, positively affect our mental and physical health as well.

7. LEARNING TO UNDERSTAND AND FORGIVE

The happiest women alive have realized that life is too short to be angry or mad at someone. They want to live every second of their lives, not waste their energy on negativity. That’s why they understand, forgive and forget.

8. NOT SEEKING FOR APPROVAL

Most importantly, happy women don’t seek for approval. They don’t care if they’re liked or disliked. They don’t care about other people’s opinions, because at the end of the day they know that… What Susie says of Sally says more of Susie that of Sally.”
