Priorities. It all comes down to them.
It is not true that people don’t have time for you – they have, they just don’t want to spend it on you. Keep this in mind always.
People always make time for the important things in their life. If you are important to them, they will be there. If not, they will always be ‘busy’ with other things. Simple as that.
So, next time someone tells you, “I am sorry. I am too busy this week,” remember that they are actually saying, “I am sorry, but you are not that important to me to make the time for you.”
The most important and valuable thing in any person’s life is time. Time is the only thing in the world that we can’t buy. So, we must make the most of it, and don’t waste this incredible gift on things or people that are insignificant to us.
So, why would you waste your time and energy on someone who obviously doesn’t care about you?
When you are in a relationship with someone, you will both have to compromise on some things. One such compromise that you both have to make is about spending your individual time.
Because, when you are with someone, you have to share your time with your partner. You have to make time for your significant other and your relationship. Time can be tricky, but when you are in love with someone you can always manage it well and fit your partner into your life.
And this is not only true about relationships but for all the people that are important to you and want to have them in your life.
When someone is important to you and you care about them, you make the time for them. You are willing to drop everything whenever they need you. You are willing to reschedule some of your meetings to meet them. And you do it because you want to, not because you are forced to do it.
You spend time with your loved ones because you want to. Because you cannot not see them. You are emotionally connected to them and you need them. You need their presence. You need them in your life.
On the other hand, of your romantic partner or someone important in your life is always ‘too busy’ to see you, then this is a major red flag. It actually means that you are not as important to them as they are to you.
When your partner says that they can’t see you because they have millions of things to do, they are also saying that those ‘million things’ are more important to them than you. They are saying that you are not so special to them as you think you are.
This is not to say that when you are in a relationship you should expect your partner to spend all his time with you. No. Everyone should keep their individual space and freedom. However, a healthy relationship is a relationship in which partners are choosing to spend time with their significant other as much as they can.
Partners who love each other know that you can’t form a strong bond and connection if you don’t spend time together. Love takes time, dedication, and effort to grow and prosper.
So, when you care about someone and want to keep them in your life, make sure to always make time for them! Because relationships and friendships don’t just magically last forever. You have to invest in them.
