I never understood how can some people be so heartless that they could stomp on other people’s hearts and carry on with their lives like nothing ever happened.
How does one human being do that to another? How does one take advantage of someone else without feeling guilty about it? How does one give so little to someone who offers their entire world on a plate?
I don’t know the answer to these questions. All I know is that seeing you hurt and disappointed breaks my heart. It makes me sad knowing that you are not aware of your worth. You have no clue that you deserve much more than what you’ve settled for. And it pains me to see you giving out second chances hoping that one day they will realize how blessed they are to have you in their life. The reality is, they won’t. A person doesn’t change that easily. Especially not someone like them.
So, I really hope you know that.
I hope that deep down, you know that this person is not going to give you what you want. They are never going to love you the way you want to be loved. They are never going to be here for you to hold you hand when you need that the most.
No matter how painful it is to hear this and then acknowledge it, I hope you do.

I hope that deep down you know that you deserve more than just a maybe.
I hope you find the strength within you to leave once and for all. I hope you regain your power and realize that your happiness doesn’t depend on anyone else, but yourself. Much less someone who takes advantage of you.
I hope you forget the smell of their skin and I hope all of your memories of them fade away. I hope you break free from that addiction you have. I hope you escape the cage that you’ve put yourself in and realize that you are better off without them.
I hope you know that there are many more things out there waiting for you than you can possibly imagine. Freedom, peace of mind, tranquility, independence, your wildest dreams, opportunities, fresh experiences, brand new horizons, beginnings, and many journeys. I hope you know that you are meant to live this life to the fullest and be given 100% of everything.
I hope you know that even though it sounds impossible, there is love out there. True love. Pure, free, everlasting, poetic, deep, out0-of-this-world love. And that this love is somewhere out there buried inside someone’s heart ready to awakened by you.
I hope you know that all of this and more is possible only if you decide to make that crucial step and walk away from that person.
Most importantly, I hope you know that I pray for you. I pray for you to find your happiness. I pray for you to find the strength within that fragile little heart of yours. Because only then you’ll be ready to get up on your feet, take matters into your own hands and change your direction.
