Every person vibrates on a different frequency. Some vibrate higher than others, but we all vibrate differently on different days. Some days we are not feeling ourselves and we are pessimistic, while other days we are happy and in love with life.
However, there are people who are just negative and they tend to bring others down. And sometimes they don’t need to utter a word, only by being present can cause others to feel bad. That’s why it is essential for you to learn how to stop absorbing other people’s energy and emotions.
1. BE AROUND POSITIVE PEOPLE
If your partner or someone in your family is being negative, immediately distance yourself and call your positive friend. It is always good for you to surround yourself with happy and positive people, people whose energy lights up the room and whose presence makes you feel calm and joyful.
Whenever there is someone with bad energy around you, it is best for you to walk away and leave their influence. However, sometimes you will be forced to stay in a room with them, and then you will have to learn how to disengage using your mind and shifting your thoughts and energy far away from them.
Meditation is a great way of protecting your aura and energy. Try to imagine a shield and meditate upon it. The shield can be physical, a higher power, a light shield, or anything you like that has a meaning of protecting you from outside influence. Then visualize how it is blocking everything negative that comes at you.
4. TAKE FULL CONTROL OVER YOUR EMOTIONS
Practice mindfulness. When you have control over yourself and your emotions, you can do anything. You have control over your life and what you allow to enter into your energy field. Be aware.
5. CENTER YOURSELF
When you are surrounded by negative energy, help yourself by quickly centering yourself. Focus on your breathing. Take deep breaths. Breathe in positive things and exhale all the negativity that is in you.
