Be On Your Own Until You Find Someone Who Feels Like Home

Be on your own until you find a person who looks at you and says, “Oh, there you are! I’ve been looking for you my whole life.”

Be on your own until you find someone who doesn’t have a problem with being the first one to text you ‘good morning.’ Someone who says ‘I love you’ first without worrying that they will scare you away. Someone who won’t get scared to say whatever is on their mind.

Be on your own until you find someone whose mission is to protect you and make you feel safe.

Someone who would sooner die than do something that will hurt you. Someone who knows how much you love them and who he holds your love as the most precious thing that has ever happened to them.

Someone who won’t be scared of your big dreams and goals. Someone who is a risk-taker, a go-getter. Just like you. Someone who wears their heart on their sleeve because they know that big rewards need big risks.

Be on your own until you find a person who looks at you in a way like they can’t wait to devour you and they do so every chance they get. Wait for someone who is both rough and tender, someone who knows how to touch you that will make you lose your mind.

Someone who makes your skin electrified. Someone who sends shock waves to your soul and butterflies to your stomach. Someone who penetrates your mind long before you two get into the bedroom.

Someone who likes to spend their Friday nights all curled up together in bed watching Netflix or chilling with good music. Someone who holds you all night long.

Be on your own until you find a person whose actions speak louder than their words. Someone who won’t ever let their integrity get into question.

Someone who tells you-you are ever that they will ever need and want to spend their life with you. Someone who only needs one look to melt down all your defenses and worries.

Be on your own until you find a person who believes in you and motivates you to be your best. Someone who understands that you need to be happy and whole before becoming happy and whole together.

Be on your own until you find someone who values the perks of solitude and takes their time to be alone and recharge. Someone who enjoys their own company but are more than happy to welcome you into their life.

Someone who shows up. Someone who will stay with you during good times and bad times. Someone who will step up and deal with the problems instead of running away.

Someone who is your safe place.

Someone who feels like home.
