When You Love Someone, You Embrace Their Flaws And Accept Them For Who They Are

SHARE

When you genuinely love another human being, you don’t try to change them into your idea of a perfect person. You accept them for who they truly are, flaws and all. You welcome them into your imperfect life, you embrace their scarred, flawed soul, you help them with their heavy emotional suitcases, you fall in love with their cracked heart and you love them with all of your being.

You love them for being brave to show their differences in a world that demand us to be the same. You love them for not being afraid to open their heart to you in a cruel, cruel world who does not care about anyone’s feelings.

You do everything for them because they are the remaining puzzle that perfectly fits your heart.

When you genuinely love another human being, you embrace their quirks and you fall in love with how imperfect they are. You do your best to understand their reasons for snapping at you because you know their fears. You are there to help them overcome their past traumas. You are there to hold their hand until eternity.

When you genuinely love another human being, you don’t give up on them after the first disagreement. You don’t give up on the sacred bond you two have at the first hurdle. You don’t disrespect them. You try to make a reasonable compromise that satisfies both sides. Most importantly, you accept their honest and heartfelt apologies. Because before judging them, you put yourself in their shoes.

When you genuinely love another human being, you don’t criticize them for being who they truly are. You don’t make them feel guilty for having past traumas that they are still coping with. You don’t leave them alone when they need your help to work out their trust issues. You support them. You accept the fact that they are not perfect. You motivate them to never give up. And you help them realize that they are stronger than they imagine.

When you genuinely love another human being, you never throw their flaws in their face. You don’t make them feel worse about the things that already burden their heart. You don’t blame them for the troubles in their life. You do your best to help them get out of that vicious cycle of self-hate. You let them know that they can be themselves around you. You listen to their stories. You wipe their tears. And you stay by their side forever.

When you genuinely love another human being, you let them know that you are one. You invite them to your world and make them feel comfortable. You work as a team. You help each other. You lift each other up. You do your best to convince them that they shouldn’t be afraid of loving you. Because, the only thing you could ever do to them is to protect their wounded, fragile heart.

When you genuinely love another human being, you accept them for who they truly are. You don’t need them to be perfect, because it’s exactly their flaws that made you fall in love with them.
