Life doesn’t always turn up the way we expect.
But, despite all of the pain, hardships, tears, and scars, there are women who are warriors. Women who have the power to survive. Women who have the ability to rise from their own ashes and start all over again.
I salute those fighters! They are the inspiration this world admires. They are the women who walked through fire but still got out. They are remarkable human beings with incredible emotional strength, brave heart, and vulnerable soul.
They are women who stand out from the masses. Here’s how:
1. STRONG WOMEN BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES
A strong lady knows exactly who she is and how much she’s worth. She doesn’t need anyone telling her what’s right for her and what isn’t. She has her own goals and dreams, and she follows the path her heart chooses.
She needs no approval or support for that. The challenges she faces and the decisions she makes are her own.
2. STRONG WOMEN SEEK RESPECT, NOT VALIDATION
They don’t need to be accepted by others or approved by society’s twisted standards. You’ll never see a strong woman beg for that attention. She’ll never be interested in seeking anything else than respect.
Because respect is the most important thing she needs from others. If you don’t bother to respect her opinions, ideas or preferences, no matter how different they are, you don’t deserve her.
3. STRONG WOMEN WEAR THEIR SORROW LIKE AN ARMOR
A woman who’s been through a lot of pain and hardships in life doesn’t let her sorrow bring her down and throw her in the gutter. She rises above all the bullshit, and just like a glorious phoenix, she is reborn from her ashes.
She may have suffered, but she’s not a victim. She’s a warrior. A survivor. She’s her own savior. Her own superhero. And believe it or not, she wears her pain as a shield.
4. STRONG WOMEN RADIATE WITH POSITIVITY AND LIFT OTHERS UP
No matter how battles she has lost, she’s always the person who lifts other people up. The fact that her heart was once broken, and her soul shattered to pieces, doesn’t mean that her life has come to an end. On the contrary, she’s stronger than ever.
Her smile shines the brightest. Her heart is open for everyone. Her hand warms even the coldest person alive. Her passion for life is the thing that keeps her going.
5. STRONG WOMEN NEVER COMPARE THEMSELVES WITH OTHERS
Strong women know exactly where they stand. They know how much they’re capable of, but they are also aware of their weaknesses.
They believe that every single one of us is here for a reason. That we all have a different purpose for our existence. And that there are no better or worse people than you. There are only differences. And those are the differences that we should never forget to celebrate.
6. STRONG WOMEN AREN’T AFRAID TO BE VULNERABLE
Their strength doesn’t indicate that they’re heartless. Their strength derives from their innermost feelings. Strong women aren’t afraid to cry and expose their vulnerability. That is what makes them the most special human beings.
7. STRONG WOMEN FORGIVE INSTEAD OF SEEKING REVENGE
Negativity is not a part of their being and will never be. A strong woman will never leave her soul trapped in a cell of toxic energy. A strong woman will never take revenge on someone. She’s a firm believer in karma.
The only thing she can do is to forgive others and forgive herself for succumbing to the pressure. The rest will take care of itself.
