8 Harmful Behaviors No Mentally Strong And Self Respecting Person Should Ever Tolerate

Toxicity isn’t something that pollutes only the air we breathe. It’s not something that affects us only physically. It can also come in the form of manipulation. Merciless lies. Brutal mind games. Dirty tricks.

Toxicity is in the different types of harmful behaviors of all the people we face each and every day.

However, even though some of these behaviors are more common that they should be, in the end, it all depends on you. You decide whether you’ll protect yourself by making boundaries or you’ll just welcome them in your life.

The choice is yours.

Here are some of the most toxic behaviors that you should never ever tolerate:

1. A PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR SPRINKLED WITH HIDDEN, BUT MEAN INSULTS

I bet you have at least one person in your life that does this. They pretend to be nice to you, but you know they’d attack you with their mean, hidden insults whenever they get the chance.

They constantly make you feel bad, but they do it in a certain subtle way, so you can’t actually call them out on it. Do yourself a favor and stay aside from these people.

2. GOSSIPING

One of the most miserable behaviors a person can manifest is gossiping. Constant snooping around and trashing people only points out that the individuals who do that have no life of their own.

Don’t waste your time and energy on them.

3. WHEN SOMEONE ENJOYS PLAYING THE VICTIM

Ah, the-real-pain-in-the-ass kind of people. These human beings have mastered the art of making something appear much more dangerous and scary than it really is.

They enjoy playing the “victim” part. Even if everything is just fine, they’ll find a way to have a pity party for themselves.

4. SOMEONE WHO IS CONSTANTLY POINTING AT YOUR FLAWS

These are the worst of the worst.

Tell me is it so difficult to not say anything at all if you don’t have something nice to say? Or the overwhelming sensation of superiority after an insult is something that feeds your ego?

5.PERSISTENT NEGATIVITY

Let’s be honest here. We all choose people based on the benefits we get from our relationship with them.

That being said, I’m sure that when we look for a significant other, we seek someone who would accept, respect, love us. Someone who would only spread positivity in our lives.

Mentally strong people and self-respecting individuals would never embrace negativity as a part of their lives.

6.SOMEONE WHO IS ONLY THERE WHEN THEY NEED SOMETHING FROM YOU

If you have a “friend” who is always there when they need something from you, it is time for some reality check. No friend of yours will use you only when they desperately need a favor.

A real friend would be there through thick and thin, reminding you that kind and genuine people do exist.

7.EMOTIONAL UNAVAILABILITY AND IMMATURITY

No self-respectful and a confident person would ever fall for immature and childish games. Manipulation is not the way to attract these people.

They want someone with whom they can imagine a future, a person who would be honest and considerate of their feelings.

8. RIDICULOUSLY COMPETETIVE BEHAVIOR

Life is not a competition, but there are people who just desperately need to win at everything. They have the crazy need to always be one step ahead of you. Why you ask? The “inferiority complex”. Simple as that.

Believe me, you are better off without them.
