Coronavirus has turned our world upside down in a matter of days. Despite the warnings and the rigorous prohibitions that the governments of the affected countries make every day to control and fight the disease that has killed many people, the virus is still spreading at an alarming rate.
But, there is one tweet that has become viral and has predicted the spread of COVID-19. What is unusual is that the tweet is dating back from 2013.
Marco (@Marco _Acortes) tweeted “Corona virus… it’s coming” on 3 June 2013.
Now, the tweet has gone viral and it has been retweeted more than 68K times with more than 122K people liking it.
Twitter society has divided opinions on this. Many people are shocked and surprised and yet, there are those who remain skeptical saying that the user behind the profile hacked Twitter and changed the date, while others say that the Coronavirus has always been around us.
