A kind family needs our help. A woman with Down syndrome is missing.
Sarah Gallaway is a 38-year-old woman who often is talking out loud to herself, mainly having imaginary talks with friends or commenting about future events at the program for people with disabilities.
She was last seen on the 21st of March 2019. Her mother, Sherry Galloway, suspected something was wrong when she couldn’t hear her daughter Sarah after taking a shower.
Her mother quickly searched the whole house and when she couldn’t find Sarah, she ran to the front door and down the street, but her daughter was nowhere to be found.
“My first thought was that she’d just walked further than she was allowed,” says Galloway. “I got in the car and drove down the road. No Sarah. I was freaking out. … within about 10 minutes, we’d called 911.”
It’s been more than 2 months now since Sarah disappeared and her friends and family all hope and pray for her safe return.
Sarah is a lovely Caucasian lady with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 4 feet and 11 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds.
“She’s a vulnerable adult and we’re doing everything we can to locate her,” says deputy Daniel Jelineo. “We’re looking to the public to supply any tips they have.”
