I Don’t Want You To Be Perfect, I Just Want Your Heart To Be Good

I am not concerned about your fears or flaws. I don’t judge you by the baggage you carry from your past. I don’t give a damn if you have your whole life figured out or not. I only care about your heart and what’s in it.

I watch how you treat others. I pay attention to your reaction when you see someone who needs help. I care if you have a soft, loving and helping heart. I want to see if you are a genuinely good person or you are just pretending.

I don’t want you to be perfect. We are all works in progress. We are all struggling to find our way in this messy world. But I want you to care for the people that matter to me and treat them nicely. I want to see your gentleness and how you will treat me during my dark and light moments. I want to see if I am going to be your priority.

I don’t want to be with someone who has never made a mistake, who has never fucked up something and got out of it stronger. We are not immune to making mistakes, and that’s why I am only looking to find someone who responsible and human enough to take account and responsibility for their actions.

I am looking to find someone who is kind and sensitive. Someone who will never hurt someone intentionally. Someone who looks to find a solution to the problems instead of running from them.

I don’t want you to have everything figured out. I don’t want you to know everything. Every day there is something new to learn. I just want your heart to be pure and good. I want you to be on the path on creating the best version of yourself.

I can’t be with someone who doesn’t reveal their emotions because they fear of getting hurt. I want someone who is vulnerable. I want someone who is raw. Someone who knows that sharing everything with your partner is essential in a relationship.

I want you to be honest and open. To truly believe that love is a blessing and the most wonderful thing in the world.

I want you to have a heart of gold.
