Real talk, ladies and gents. We can pretend that the majority of men is not intimidated by powerful alpha women who go after the things they desire, but the reality will always haunt us.

Strong, confident and successful women are everywhere around us. They are the brave, inspiring women from the #METOO movement, your colleagues at work who take no crap from their bosses, the mothers who’ve raised us while working a full-time job, the feminists who stand strong for the things they believe in, the ones who’ve devoted their whole lives working on the things they’re passionate about.
“But why is it that most men cannot handle these human beings”, you ask?
Well, some men are simply too intimidated by the power these women radiate with. The majority of men who are deeply appalled by these women are usually weak men who have a lack of confidence and egos as big as the universe.
Here’s why they find it difficult to handle strong women:
1. STRONG WOMEN KNOW WHAT THEY WANT
These women have raised themselves into confident, conscious and brave individuals. They’ve been through a lot and they’ve endured more than you could imagine. All of these experiences have shaped them into the people they are today. All of those obstacles and rocks along the road just made them stronger. They’ve made them aware of their worth and what they seek in life.
2. THEY DON’T NEED MEN TO PROTECT THEM
Let’s make things clear. Strong women do not need men to protect or save them. They do that on their own and they’re actually doing pretty good. What they need is a man who can stand up to their level. Someone who will have the same passion about life, someone who will motivate them to be brave and reach for the stars.
3. THEY REQUIRE HONESTY
But, more importantly, a strong woman wants a relationship based on honesty and mutual understanding. She wants a man who won’t be afraid to leave all of his inhibitions aside and be vulnerable with her. She wants an emotionally available human being who will stay beside her and navigate the ocean of unpredictability with her.
4. STRONG WOMEN ARE NOT AFRAID TO BE VULNERABLE
When it comes to relationships, a strong woman will always require intimacy. She will never settle for something average. She will never accept a relationship based just on comfort. That is exactly why weak and emotionally insecure men will be intimidated by this woman.
Strong women need passion, pure, all-consuming love, desire, intense feelings. Something that not all men could provide.
5. THEY CAN SEE THROUGH YOUR LIES
But, one of the biggest reasons why most men find it difficult to handle strong, confident women is because these gifted creatures have the power to see right through people’s lies. They have a sincere and pure heart, so it is only natural for them to sense a white, sugar-coated lie. Once they catch you in the act, no amount of excuses will ever help you justify your actions.
6. THEY POSSES AN INTENSE ENERGY
They’ve endured many challenges and obstacles in their lives. Each and every single one of them had to be strong in order to overcome those difficult times. Each and every single one of them had to be brave to keep going forward.
That is how they’ve accumulated their intense and powerful energy. That emotional strength that intimidates most people around them.
7. STRONG WOMEN WILL NEVER WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO COME AROUND
One of the many reasons why strong women are misunderstood by men is simply because they refuse to let others take control of their lives.
Remember! A strong woman will never wait for you. She loves unconditionally, but she also expects the same in return. She has no time to wait for someone to make up their mind and come around.
8. THEY LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY
As I said, she loves wholeheartedly and purely. She will support her loved one. Make him feel accepted. She will go out of her way to help him. She will do everything and more for the person she loves. But some men will never appreciate her devotion. Some will never be too frightened to give in to the love and they will give up when she least expects it.
