Love is not that simple and that predictable as you want it to be. Let’s just all face this truth because that is the only way we will ever find happiness. You may think that if you love someone, they should love you back, but that my friend, is foolishness.
Why?
Because each and every one of us has our own perception of the world. Each and every one of us has a different definition of love. Each and every one of us has different preferences when it comes to choosing a life partner. More importantly, each and every one of us has a different way of feeling our emotions and expressing them.
You cannot make another living being fall in love with you. You cannot make another person your soulmate. Most of all you shouldn’t give your soul away to people who cannot give you what you deserve. Because if they don’t love you with the same intensity you love them, you could give them your entire world on a silver platter and they still won’t care.
Staying with this person regardless of all the red flags and warning signs is a complete waste of time. Settling for just about anyone because you are too afraid to be alone in this world is working against yourself. In a nutshell, it is a self-sabotaging mission.
Love is not supposed to make you feel miserable. It’s not supposed to you feel just ‘comfortable’ and ‘fine’. Love is meant to spark up a fire inside your heart. To help you understand what unconditional really means. To make you feel things that you’ve never ever felt in life before. To give you the freedom and make you a braver person.
Love is the most powerful force in the universe. And the most amazing feeling of them all. That is why love should never be mediocre. It should never be average. It should be a strong, bursting fire that lights up everything in front of it. It should be mad, irrational, passionate, all-consuming and extraordinary. It should inspire you to do things that you’ve never imagined doing.
It should motivate you to get out of your comfort zone and be the person that you were always destined to be.
So please don’t settle for anyone because you are too afraid to be on your own.
Being single is better than being in a relationship with a person that doesn’t match your heart.
