Paralyzed Dog Gets Deserted On A Street With Its Broken Wheelchair And A Bag Of Diapers

Sadly, many dogs suffering from disabilities and who are staying in shelters don’t always get chosen by adopters to live with them until they die. Many people who are looking to adopt a dog are looking for a young and healthy dog. Therefore, they pass over the disabled dogs.

Lunita is a dog who thought she has found a kind and loving family that will take care of her. And they did for quite some time until one day, everything changed.

Lunita was dumped on the street, tied up outside a local shop in Argentina. The reason why her owners don’t want to take care of her anymore is because she is paralyzed.

They abandoned her and left her on the street along with her broken wheelchair. They didn’t want to bother with her anymore, believing that Lunita should be someone else’s problem now.

Lunita didn’t deserve to be treated that way and deserted so cruelly. No animal, disabled or not, does. One local passerby noticed Lunita and they wanted to make sure that Lunita is going to be okay. So, they took her to the local veterinarian clinic. The doctor helped her and gave her a new wheelchair.

And now that Lunita has a working wheelchair, she returned back to life. The people who rescued Lunita then decided to find her a new family that will love her forever. One family was interested to adopt Lunita, but they were forced to return her to the shelter. However, when people from the shelter put the story of Lunita online, it got a huge response.

Everyone felt the pain of Lunita and were sorry for her destiny. They wished her well and desired to be free of suffering and to find a new family soon.

Now, Lunita is living in the USA together with her new family. She is finally living the life she deserves. Plus, the good people from Eddie’s Wheels gave Lunita a brand-new wheelchair so that she can now motor around together with her new family.

She made it to her 11th birthday and then she fell ill. Unfortunately, she passed away. Lunita’s mother said in a FB post that she loved her so much and that Lunita changed her life forever.
